Professional Counseling & Support Groups

Angel Arms Infant & Children Recovery Program
Our most vulnerable community members deserve a safe, nurturing environment to heal and thrive.
- Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) Support: Specialized, compassionate care and resources for infants born experiencing substance withdrawal.
- Safe Haven Environment: Temporary transitional support, safe environment housing, and care packages for young children caught in the crossfire of family substance use crises.
- Crisis Supply Care: Distribution of essential infant and childcare items (diapers, formula, clothing, pack-and-plays) to biological, foster, or kinship families stepping up to care for children in recovery.
Project Stand: Awareness & Education
We believe that breaking the stigma surrounding substance use disorders requires proactive community education and visible solidarity.
- Community Awareness Campaigns: Our signature Project Stand events unite thousands of Westmoreland County residents to stand visually and vocally against the stigma of addiction.
- Educational Workshops: We provide custom presentations for local schools, civic organizations, and churches focusing on prevention, recognizing the signs of substance use, and supporting recovery.
- Stigma Reduction Training: Equipping community leaders and businesses with the language and resources needed to create supportive environments for individuals in recovery.
Emergency Outreach & Resource Navigation
When an individual or family is in crisis, getting immediate access to basic necessities is the first step toward stability.
- Emergency Groceries & Food Distribution: Providing shelf-stable food boxes and emergency grocery supplies to local households experiencing extreme poverty or sudden displacement.
- Random Gifts of Kindness: A boots-on-the-ground outreach initiative where volunteers distribute physical supplies, hygiene kits, clothing, and hope directly to individuals experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity.
- Resource Referral Network: Acting as a bridge to other regional resources, helping individuals navigate housing assistance, medical care, and detox/rehabilitation placements.
